A 2007 pilot study found that two tablespoons of ACV before bedtime controlled regulated waking glucose levels in diabetics, according to the American Diabetes Organization.

A 2004 study found that drinking 20 grams of apple cider vinegar before a meal could "significantly improve postprandial insulin sensitivity in insulin-resistant subjects."

Combatting Gastric Ulcers
According to an experiment published in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine in January 1994, Manuka honey kills H. pylori bacteria, which is responsible for gastric ulcers. The study showed that a concentration of 5 percent manuka honey killed lab samples of this bacteria.
