A powerful cleansing agent, Green Barley Leaf binds with heavy metals in the system and helps flush them out thereby eliminating toxins from the liver.

It’s packed with 18 amino acids, as well as beta-carotene, calcium, folic acid, pantothenic acid, vitamin K, B6 and vitamin C. It also contains minerals including potassium, magnesium, iron, copper, phosphorus, manganese and zinc - all in an easily digestible form.

It is a fantastic source of chlorophyll, which has powerful alkalising properties that play a hugely beneficial role in helping your body establish a balanced pH level.

Naturally Good for You
Made from the powdered leaves of young organic barley, our Green Barley Leaf Powder provides revitalising nutrients in an easy-to-absorb powder that works to cleanse and detoxify. When our bodies become too acidic, wastes become trapped in our cells and cannot be processed efficiently. Chlorophyll is an excellent alkaliser that works to establish pH balance promoting energy levels, improved digestion and healthier skin

There are lots of great reasons to bring Green Barley Leaf into your family life, and it’s a really easy addition to make. Here’s why:

Because we are constantly exposed to toxins, stressing our bodies and potentially undermining our health, our bodies can often benefit from extra nutritional support. Chlorophyll, the green pigment found in Green Barley Leaf, is a powerful cleansing agent which sweeps away toxins from the liver, while the digestive enzymes enable us to process wastes in the gut.

Immune System
Constantly protecting us and responding dynamically to our environment, our immune system plays a crucial role in defending our state of health. Green Barley Leaf is one of the best available sources of beta-carotene, which is of particular benefit to our immunity.

Green Barley Leaf floods the body with chlorophyll, delivering a stunning range of nutrients in their most vital form. This cascade of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, essential fatty acids, antioxidants and highly digestible carbohydrates helps to rebuild cells and restore health. As in the early grass stage of growth wheat and barley are closer to vegetables than grains, Green Barley Leaf is gluten-free and easy to digest.

pH Balance
When the body becomes over acidic, wastes become trapped within the cell and cannot be processed efficiently. Because chlorophyll has such excellent alkalising qualities, Green Barley Leaf can play a hugely beneficial role in retrieving balance in the body. Good energy levels, improved digestion and healthier hair, skin and nails are all associated with the correct blood pH, which calcium contained in Green Barley Leaf can help us regain.

Help Lower Cholesterol
According to a 2010 meta-analysis by SS AbuMweis et al, published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition, beta-glucan in barley helped lower LDL cholesterol, which is the "bad" kind of cholesterol.

Greens can Help Reduce Risk of Various Forms of Cancer
Research suggests that eating dark green vegetables and foods high in beta carotene offers some protection from the development of lung cancer, with reduced risk of cancers of the ovary, cervix, stomach and colon. Research suggests that ensuring adequate amounts of green foods in our diets can significantly reduce the risk of cancer.
